Manufactured from premium 80mm/3.14” T304 Stainless Steel the Audi S3 8V 2.0T and our CNC Mandrel bent large bore design permits maximum performance by allowing a greater flow of exhaust gas. Currently available options are resonated valved, resonated non-valved, non-resonated valved and non-resonated non-valved. Valved - which uses the original motor and can be operated by the driver with the drive mode select button inside the car. There is also a non-valved which deletes the valve completely for a continuous sportier tone. Our system once fitted gives the car a measurable reduction in weight when compared to the OE system this is an improvement most drivers will find hard to rebuff. When applicable Scorpion systems are fitted with an acoustically developed silencer to ensure zero drone throughout the rev range. To compliment the Audi’s facelift aesthetics, we can offer three handpicked styles of our signature Scorpion tailpipes. For this system you can choose from quad Polished Daytona, Black Ceramic Daytona, or Carbon Ascari.  For those wanting to take the next step with performance upgrades our Scorpion technicians have also developed a de-cat downpipe which vastly improves flow and power over the OEM figures, or we offer a precision engineered Sports cat downpipe which has greater flow over OEM. The results speak for themselves and certainly boost the car’s credentials. Our fully tuned version was given an inter cooler, induction kit and re-map, together with a Cobra Sport Turbo Back non-resonated exhaust upgrade with high-flow catalyst. On testing the Polo achieved a 50.3bhp increase in power taking it to 227.3bhp from its original 177bhp starting point. Similar increases were achieved with torque, which increased from 184lb-ft to a whopping 227.5lb-ft. Mass was reduced considerably providing a weight saving of almost 37% in comparison to its OE counterpart. All in all these are certainly impressive results for this little car. Styling options consist of standout twin 3” tailpipes in various designs, including the less obtrusive slash cut versions which compliments the VW aesthetics nicely. The exhaust upgrade provides a purposeful but unobtrusive sound quality which in no way interferes with day-to-day driveability. The Cobra Sport team were able to reduce the weight of the exhaust system by an impressive 41% over the OEM system with the resonated 2.5” cat back system weighing in at only 9.52kg compared to the original 16.20kg. The de-cat and sports cat front pipes have been enlarged to 3” bore and offer a weight saving of 0.60kg. The new systems benefit from all of the usual Cobra Sport refinements with mandrel bent, TIG welded, grade 304 stainless steel used throughout the systems as standard. You can therefore be assured of only the best quality in a Cobra Sport system. Having driven both the resonated & non-resonated on a daily basis, I found the non-resonated to be slightly uncomfortable at motorway speeds, and slightly on the louder side for normal road use, although, nowadays I would class myself as the more mature driver.
