The 3.2 Duratorq engine feels significantly underpowered for the weight of the vehicle, and the available torque never really translates into forward momentum. Coupled with a very lazy gearbox and long first gear, there was always going to be plenty of room for improvement. The way in which the power is spread over a broader band really helps to overcome the weakness of the 6-speed box. The vehicle no longer hunts through gears and instead pulls smoothly using the increased and wider spread of torque. The towing experience is also transformed, even fully laden with its 3.5-tonne limit. Revo performance ECU Software also offers unique safety features designed to protect your engine.
